Kapil Sharma shared an emotional and heartfelt message on Instagram for late comedian Raju Srivastava. Raju passed away on Wednesday morning at the age of 58. After suffering a cardiac arrest at the gym on August 10, he was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi. From the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil shared a picture with Raju.

He wrote in the post’s caption, “You have brought tears to my eyes for the first time, Raju bhai. I wish I could meet you one last time. May God provide you peace. You will be remembered a lot. Goodbye, Om shanti).”

Raju, who was raised in a middle-class household and was born on December 25, 1963, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, rose to national prominence with his appearances on “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” and his stage persona Gajodhar Bhaiya.

After being hospitalised for more than 40 days, Raju passed away on September 21. On social media, a number of Bollywood stars shared their sorrow at his passing and gave heartfelt tributes. Anil Kapoor shared a picture of the two of them on Instagram Stories along with the message “Om Shanti.” Many others, including director Vivek Agnihotri, actor Ajay Devgn, singer Mika Singh, and others, conveyed their astonishment and sorrow to the family of the late comedian.
