After visiting a battlefield early on Thursday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s car collided with another vehicle, but he was unharmed, according to his spokesman. Zelenskyy visited troops in the Izium city that had been retaken while on his way back to Kyiv from the Kharkiv region. In the Ukrainian capital, a passenger car collided with the president’s convoy, according to a Facebook post by his spokesman Sergii Nikiforov.
According to Zelenskyy, the driver of the other vehicle received first assistance from his medical staff before being transported away in an ambulance. According to Nikiforov, doctors evaluated the president and found no significant injuries. He made no mention of any possible wounds Zelenskyy may have sustained. The spokesman continued by saying that the accident’s circumstances are being looked into. Zelenskyy may have been delayed by the car accident in publishing the nightly video address he had delivered during the war.
